c. Concrete nouns are nouns that can be touched or held.
Example :
- Her apartment is big.

d. Abstract nouns are nouns that can't be touched or held. They exist only in our minds as a idea or feelings.

- His love only for you.
- Honesty is the best policy.
- Tillie is amused by people who are nostalgic about childhood.
- Justice often seems to slip out of our grasp.
- Buying the fire extinguisher was an afterthought.

Verbs are word which express action, existence, or condition.

a. Action verbs, as its name suggests, expresses action.

b. Linking verbs, sometimes known as a copulative verb, joins the subject of the sentence to some word or words in the predicate.
Example :
- He was ill.
- She is a doctor.
- They were in the stadium.
- I am a student.
- Rini was absent yesterday.
c. Verb phrases are composed of more than one verb.
Example :
- I must go right now.
- She was walking to the mall.
- Finally, we can buy the house.
- Words were spoken.
- You might eat the cake.
d. Auxiliary verbs or helping verbs are the verb in the verb phrase that precede the principal or main verb.
Example :
- You should do your homework now.
- I will go to Jogja next week.
- I must go home.
- We shall buy food and drink now.
